THERAPEUTIC YOGA blends elements of Yoga, Massage, Pilates & Mindfulness tO address imbalances in your myo-fascial-skeletal systems through traction, engagement and release..

We do this with props. Some from traditional Yoga, some from Massage and Pilates, and some that we’ve adapted specifically to offer you relief, stability and strength.

45 MINUTE CLASSES

1 GENTLE THERAPEUTIC YOGA FRI—10:45AM

RELAX AND Learn to let the props do the work for you, laying on your yoga mat with some supported sitting.

2 SUPPORTIVE THERAPEUTIC YOGA WED—1 PM

BEGIN TO BUILD YOUR FOUNDATION BY INTRODUCING GENTLE STRENGTH AND BALANCE; WHILE CONTINUING TO STRETCH, RELEASE AND RELAX. NO WEIGHT BEARING ON WRISTS OR BENDED KNEES.

3. STABILIZING THERAPEUTIC YOGA THURS—9:30AM

build AND balance by engaging your core and other stabilizing musculature in sitting, standing & supported body work.

4. STRENGTHENING THERAPEUTIC YOGA FRI—12 PM

Combine strength, stability and flexibility in controlled dynamic movement. There’s no limit to the ways you can use props to develop & improve functionality.

LIVESTREAM CLASSES ARE HELD IN 4 WEEK SERIES.

HEAL YOUR BODY WORKSHOPS

These are excellent rehab classes where YOU CAN LEARN to assess, balance & release A SPEciFIC area of the body yourself. Although we focus on ONE area EACH TIME, we’ll also explore the interconnectedness of this part with our whole body.

no matter what’s going on, you will feel amazing in your whole body afterwards. You also don’t have to be experiencing dysfunction in these parts to enjoy exploring & improving specific joint & muscle function.

These workshops are designed for ALL LEVELS and are beneficial for ALL BODIES.

PROPS

IN ALL OF OUR CLASSES & WoRKSHOPS, WE USE PROPS.

IN Traditional yoga, PROPS are used to facilitate alignment. We build on that, using props to create traction & release. trAcTION & RELEASE for our joints, AND release for our fascia, lead to relief, balance & ease.

WE HAVE HANDY HOUSEHOLD REPLACEMENTS WE CAN SHOW YOU HOW TO USE UNTIL YOU ARE ABLE TO GET THE REAL THING.
